Working with InfraSafe

InfraSafe is designed for homes, families, sole traders and small teams that rely on devices, cloud accounts and basic websites, but do not have their own security specialist.

You do not have to be technical. The only requirement is a willingness to talk honestly about how you use technology and what you are concerned about.

No. The whole point of InfraSafe is to translate security into plain English and simple steps. You will never be expected to understand jargon or configuration screens on your own.

Where settings need to be changed, this is done together on a call or explained in clear, numbered steps that you can follow at your own pace.

Practical details

Most work is done remotely using video calls and screen sharing, which keeps things flexible and avoids travel time. For some situations email based advice is also possible.

If in person work ever makes sense, that would be discussed in advance on a case by case basis.

Work usually starts with a short call to understand what you rely on and what is worrying you. From there we agree a clear scope, fixed price and a sensible set of sessions.

After each session you receive plain English notes with the key changes, why they matter and any steps you may want to take in your own time.

Costs and commitments

Pricing depends on the size of the task and how many sessions are needed, but it is always agreed in advance. There are no hidden extras and no surprise charges after the work is complete.

If you prefer, we can start with a small piece of work so you can see the value before deciding whether to do more.

No. InfraSafe works on a simple, engagement by engagement basis. You choose the scope, agree the price, and once that work is finished there is no ongoing commitment.

If you later decide that occasional reviews or extra sessions would help, these can be arranged as separate pieces of work.

Tools, privacy and trust

Recommendations focus on what you already have and on sensible improvements such as stronger passwords, better use of existing tools and small configuration changes.

Where new tools are suggested, they are chosen for reliability and value rather than for any commission. You always have the final say.

Personal information is kept to the minimum needed to deliver the service. Notes are stored securely and never sold or shared with other organisations.

The full approach is set out in the privacy policy, and you can request a copy of any data held about you at any time.

Next Steps

Many people feel this way, which is why the first step is usually a short, informal conversation. You explain what is on your mind and we explore a few simple options.

There is no pressure to commit on the spot. The aim of the first chat is simply to see whether working together would be useful.

You can use the contact form, book a call or send an email directly if you prefer. A short outline of your situation is helpful but not essential.

Once your message is received, you will be offered a couple of times for an initial chat so that we can decide together what would help most.

If you still have questions after reading this page, you are always welcome to ask. A quick message or call is often the easiest way to clear up anything that is on your mind.
